For various reasons, including just wanting to experience life in some other part of the world, I’ve been having a burning desire to move to Europe. I’ve narrowed down on England or The Netherlands as possible locations.

So I’m wondering what would be a good art or design school from these places? Particularly any that work with digital media or art direction, and any that are ideal for foreign students.

If it helps any, I’m currently a junior digital media student at UCF in Orlando, Florida, USA. My career goal is to design for film, television, videogames and the like.

Im 23 and Ive been out of college for a few yearsI ended up leaving school because I wasnt happy living on campus where I was, and I came back home and got a full time job in insurance, which is what Ive been doing for the past 3 years. I want to go back to school for Digital Media Design (Ive always been interested in the art field, but I was an English major before I left school). Moore College of Art and Design offers a certificate program at night, it is 8 courses and would take about a year to complete. Or I could go to Temple Universitys art school and take classes to get my degree part-time at nightthis of course would take years for me to complete. Im not sure what is the best way to go. I know everyone says it is always better to have a degree than just a certificate, but I know a lot of that depends on the field. Anyone out there work in the Digital Media field and have any advice for me? Thanks.

I am a senior in High School. I have a 4.0 GPA and have taken AP classes. I could get into a very high quality academic College or University but am really interested in pursuing my passion for digital art. Does anyone know of any good art schools in Colorado (preferably with a digital art program) that I should look into?

This is what I really want to do but is this choice really reliable? 4 or 5 years of film school; i get my diploma and lets say Paramount rejects me and I’ve lost all hope. How can I secure a successful future if filming is a sure choice for me?
