Course manuals, study materials, art supplies everything required by a student to complete the degree will be supplied by the school itself at no additional cost. While traditional universities break down their tuition by semester, while students have to purchase their own supplies and books, at Full Sail University, all these costs are included in the tuition. An extra fee is incurred only for provision of computer and software, which includes a laptop under the Project Launch Box and media creation software at deeply discounted prices. The total tuition ranges from $34,775 to $75,665

Like every other institution, Full Sail also provides several merit and academic-based grants for the students. Any student who has been accepted into the University can be request the scholarship information through one of the admissions counselor. The merit scholarship program is open to entering full time students who have maintained a minimum of 3.0 grade-point average throughput their secondary education.

Full Sail also sends students a list of best places to seek out financial grants or scholarships with financial aid packets. The federal Pell Grant is an income-based program, generally for the lower-income families. Apart from income based grants, there are certain grants provided by several institutions on the basis of grade-points and talent after securing the grant money, it is necessary to maintain the same level of dedication and commitment, in order to live up to the specific requirements of the granting institution, as they can withdraw the grant if they are not satisfied with the progress of the student.

Tuition costs range from $33,000 to $80,000 for the entire degree program. In 2007, the school introduced a new program called Apple Launch Box – every non-Game Development student in the school now receives an Apple MacBook Pro, where Game development students get HP Laptops. [5][6]. The cost of this computer is an institutional fee which is currently $3,100, but may be higher or lower, depending on the program and software configuration. This cost is separate from tuition, as students possessing a laptop of equal or higher value are permitted to opt-out of the Launch Box program. Game Development students receive a Windows-based laptop with all software necessary for the course, but its cost is not included in tuition.
