If you want to get into programming, Ryerson Polytechnical Institute, or the Ontario Institution of Technology are your best bets I think (I only know about schools in Ontario). Ryerson is in downtown Toronto, so the cost of living would likely be quite high. OIT is in Oshawa, which is 20 minutes east of Toronto. I’m sure there are EB’s close to both schools.
The crime rate in downtown Toronto is much higher than in Oshawa.
You don’t need to be a Canadian citizen to go to college here, but you will pay more tuition if you are not. You can probably expect to pay 10-12000/year in tuition.
Good business schools include Brock University in St. Catharines ON (20 minutes from Niagara Falls), McMaster university in Hamilton, University of Toronto, University of Western Ontario, and the cream of the crop, Queens.
There are lots of gaming companies that have offices in Canada. EA Sports does alot of development in Vancouver, Rockstar North has offices in Toronto, and I’m sure there are many more. These are the only two that I know of, off the top of my head…
Hope this helps.

McGill University in Montreal, Queens University in Kingston and University of British Columbia are all great universities. I don’t know the cost of living for some but I know McGill costs about $20,000 for tuition. There is very low crime in the city. The school is not considered a party school, but rather the “Harvard of the North.” There are several EB and Gamestops 5 min. walk from campus. You do not have to be canadian, and it is easy to get a study permit. The student body is very open and accept everybody. It is very easy to find friends.

First of All, You Will Not need a citizenship card right away, you can get a schooling certificate, If your going to College to get a skill trade some great schools in canada would be Grant MacEwan in Edmonton, AB, and Red River in Winnipeg, MB and of Course CDI which is in Every major city in North America, In Winnipeg There is an EB Games in every single mall, in Edmonton there is some and close to the south Campus of Grant MacEwan, there is a Game City which is like an EB Games, just not as good, . If you are planning on Going to University theres tonnes, like University of Manitoba in Winnipeg MB, U of Winnipeg, in Winnipeg, MB, I believe one of the top school in Canada is the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, Ab, There is also the University of British Columia if you like the mountains (also a Top School), and University of Ontario and U of Toronto, both in Toronto ON, and theres a few in Quebec if you like an English-French culture (dont have to speak french). and if you want to be on the Atlantic Ocean there’s many like the Univeristy of Nova Scotia, and U of New Brunswik, also if you want to be close to the United States there’s a University in Niagra Falls, Canada which I’m sure you know is shared between Canada and the US. if You want to be on the Pacific ocean theres the University of Vancouver, and University of Victoria. Theres many schools in Canada and EB Games Everywhere, and of Course Depending of Where you go like Alberta is $1000CDN/mo. for a Bachelor Suite, and in Manitoba you can get a bachelor suite for $250-500CDN a month. Im not too sure about others, Gambelling is not Illgeal anywhere as long as you are 18, same with Drinking you have to be 18. and there is Nintendo somewhere in Canada and Dell in Edmonton, If your worried about crime rate I would NOT University’s in Toronto or Manitoba. Love to see you come up, I go to University in 2010
